At Christian Recovery Centers, Inc. (CRCI), we believe that recovery is more than sobriety—it’s about transformation, purpose, and preparation for a thriving future. Our Cabinet & Countertop Services are a cornerstone of this vision. These services do more than generate income for our nonprofit recovery program—they provide our residents with structured employment, hands-on vocational training, and a direct pathway into a high-demand trade.

By involving residents in real-world projects, we help them re-enter the workforce with confidence. This initiative is part of CRCI’s broader Workforce Redevelopment Program, which focuses on restoring dignity through daily structure, accountability, and meaningful work. Residents engage in everything from precision cabinet assembly and finish work to on-site countertop installation under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Each project helps participants develop skills in craftsmanship, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving—all essential traits for long-term employment and independence.

Workforce Redevelopment and Career Readiness

Our Workforce Redevelopment Program is designed to bridge the gap between recovery and reintegration. At CRCI, we provide that bridge through a comprehensive, faith-based model of job training, character development, and mentorship.

Residents not only receive in-field training, but they also gain access to formal education. Through a partnership with Brunswick Community College, participants are eligible to take career-building courses, including the Mike Rowe Work Ethic Certification. This dual approach—education paired with on-the-job training—ensures that our graduates leave not just with experience, but with the credentials to validate it.

We also focus heavily on instilling a strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility. These are not just job skills—they are life skills that restore a person’s self-worth and sense of purpose. Under the supervision of industry veterans, residents learn to show up, follow through, and produce work they can take pride in.
